The status ID must be unique and should never be changed after projects are assigned to it, and it’s recommended to use a higher numeric ID to avoid conflicts with default statuses. The order value controls where the status appears in the list, while the filter_default parameter determines whether projects with that status are shown in the default project view. This gives you the flexibility to structure project stages around how your business actually operates, instead of being restricted to predefined stages.

Task Management & Advanced Assignment Controls

Tasks in Nexleon CRM are designed with powerful flexibility. They support multiple staff assignments, followers (even if they are not part of the project), task dependencies, hourly rates per task, priority levels, custom fields, and individual timers for each assignee. By default, all project members can see every task within a project. However, task visibility can be restricted by navigating to Setup → Settings → Tasks and setting “Allow All Staff to See All Tasks Related to Projects” to NO. Once disabled, staff members will only see tasks assigned to them. Admins or users with VIEW permission will still have full visibility.
